Aquapack Pressure Booster systems are automatically functioned according to system condition via means of pressure switches. These sets are supplied as preassembled, complete and tested systems including suction as well as discharge manifolds, non-return valves, isolating valves, pressure gauge and pressure switches. These sets are made for the transfer as well as pressure boosting of clean water for an apartment complex, hotels, community water supply, hospitals, commercial buildings, industries, schools, etc. Aquapack Pressure Booster systems can improve suction capability and can decrease the risk of dry-running. Description

The Aquapack 1000 booster sets consist of 2 to 4 identical vertical multistage (LCR) pump mounted in parallel on a common base frame, control cabinet with motor protection and integrated LE 1000 series controller.

These pumps are automatically operated according to system requirement by means of pressure switches (one for each pump). The setting of the pressure switches have to be within the optimal performance area of each pump model.

Automatic operation o one or more pumps with VFD control is optional.

Aquapack 1000 booster sets are supplied as complete, preassembled and tested systems including suction and discharge manifolds, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure gauge and pressure switches.

To ensure stable operation the booster set must be fitted with a suitable diaphragm tank.

Features

  • The pumps shall be non-self-priming, vertical multistage centrifugal pumps. The pump consists of a base and a pump head. The chamber stack and the outer sleeve are secured between the pump head and the base by means of tiebolts. The base has suction and discharge connections on the same level (in-line). All pumps shall be equipped with a maintenance-free mechanical shaft seal.
  • Aquapack 1000 shall be built up on a common base frame. The pumps are fixed to the base frame by means of bolts.
  • The pump shall be close coupled with a totally enclosed fan cooled type, 2900 rpm Induction motor with F class insulation, S1 duty and IP55 protection, 3 phase, 415 volts, 1 phase, 230 volts, 50 and 60 Hz power supply.
  • A pressure switch or a level switch at the suction side can be used as dry-running protection. When the water level or pressure has been restored, automatic or manual resetting is possible.
  • All cast iron parts shall be CED (cathode electrode deposition) coated for corrosion resistance with uniform coating and controlled deposition thickness of 20-30 microns.
